Audit and Advisory Senior Executive
Location: York, YO19
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Role overview
Working within the Audit and Advisory Team, as a Senior Accounts Executive, you will be a key member of their Team. Your typical daily duties with include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the delivery of audits from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients
Ensuring audits are conducted in accordance with relevant auditing standards
Preparation of financial statements for the businesses serviced by the department
VAT compliance work and preparation of management accounts
Supervision and mentoring of junior staff, providing training, guidance and feedback
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing proactive advice and insights
Person Specification
A strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards. Previous experience conducting financial audits and preparing financial statements. A professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) is desirable, part qualified individuals will be considered. You will demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting as well as good communication skills.
