A long-standing accountancy practice in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a qualified Audit Assistant Manager to oversee and support their audit team. This role is ideal for someone with supervisory experience in audits, looking after diverse client portfolios across multiple sectors, including corporate and not-for-profit clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a team of auditors, delegating and managing workflow
Report directly to Managers and Senior Managers
Manage a broad range of clients and help bring in new business
Supervise and support junior staff
Undertake some accounts and tax work in addition to audits
Ensure high-quality audit deliverables and compliance with standards
Requirements:
ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (or near-qualified)
Experience supervising audit teams within a UK accountancy practice
Knowledge of both corporate audits and NFP (Not-for-Profit) sector audits
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and deadlines effectively
