Audit Assistant Manager
Location: Leicester
Salary: £43,000 - £45,000
Hours: 37.5 per week, flexible hybrid working
The Role
A leading accountancy practice is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to join its growing Leicester team. You’ll manage audits from planning to completion, oversee junior colleagues, and work with cutting-edge technology, including AI tools, to deliver efficient, high-quality audits.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audits, reviewing junior team members’ work
- Apply strong technical knowledge (FRS102 desirable)
- Build effective client relationships and ensure deadlines are met
- Coach, mentor, and develop the audit team
- Share best practice and drive process improvements
About You:
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- 3+ years’ audit experience in practice
- Experience of working on SME and Owner Managed Business clients
- Strong IT skills and up-to-date technical knowledge
- Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Driving licence and own vehicle (minimal travel)
