Audit Assistant Manager
Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Full-time, Hybrid
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000
A large audit and accountancy practice is seeking an experienced and qualified Auditor to join a growing team in Nottingham city centre. About the role:
As an auditor, you will work closely with Managers and Partners, taking responsibility for leading audit assignments from planning to completion. You’ll prepare financial statements, coach junior team members, and build strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality audit files are delivered for review.
Your work will involve a mix of time spent at client premises and in the Nottingham office, giving you valuable exposure to client staff and management teams.
What we’re looking for:
- ACA/ACCA qualified, with 3 to 4 years of audit experience
- Background working with SMEs and owner-managed businesses
- Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a personable, team-focused approach
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards
- Full driving licence and access to a car
