What you will do
Audit Delivery
-
Manage and oversee a portfolio of audit assignments
-
Plan and coordinate audits, ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget

Identify risk, assess controls, and ensure high-quality audit files before Partner review

Apply strong technical knowledge to maintain and improve audit standards
Team Leadership
-
Lead audit teams both on site and in the office

Provide training, guidance, and constructive feedback

Support junior team members in their ongoing development
Client Relationships

Build strong relationships with clients across sectors such as manufacturing, TMT, lifestyle, and leisure

Develop a clear understanding of each client’s business to provide tailored advice

Maintain a professional approach and ensure client expectations are consistently met
Compliance and Quality

Ensure all audit work complies with internal procedures and regulatory requirements

Review accounts, tax computations, board packs, and supporting documents
-
Stay up to date with technical developments through CPD and relevant training
What you need
-
ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

Strong experience in audit within an accountancy practice

Background working with SME and/or international clients

Experience leading and developing audit teams

Good working knowledge of Excel
-
Experience with platforms such as Power BI or Data Snipper is an advantage

Interest in emerging technologies including AI
