A Chartered accountancy practice in Nottingham is seeking an Audit Semi-Senior to join their experienced team. This mainly audit-focused role offers exposure to a diverse client portfolio, with opportunities to gain experience in accounts and tax, creating a well-rounded practice position.
Salary & Benefits:
Circa £28,000 – £32,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualification progress
Full-time, 37.5 hours/week

Key Responsibilities:
Lead or assist on audit assignments across diverse sectors
Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Compile business tax computations and schedules
Support a portfolio of clients with financial and tax queries year-round
Occasionally assist with management accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT returns
Recommend accounting software solutions to clients
Deliver exceptional client service through general office duties
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ recent practice experience, ideally in audit or multi-disciplinary roles
AAT qualified or finalist, or started ACCA/ACA studies
Strong commercial awareness and deadline-driven mindset
Clean driving licence and access to a car for client visits
Proficiency in IRIS and audit software systems
Experience managing a varied client portfolio
