Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

  • Assist in planning, fieldwork, and completion of audits across a range of clients

  • Prepare corporation and personal tax computations for review

  • Support and mentor junior colleagues where appropriate

  • Liaise directly with clients, providing clear communication and proactive service

  • Maintain accurate records, reconciliations, and supporting schedules

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and client experience

  • Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver integrated client solutions

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Part-qualified (ACA / ACCA) or actively studying towards qualification

  • Proven experience working within an accountancy practice environment

  • Strong technical grounding in accounts preparation and/or audit

  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills

  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work

  • Adaptable, motivated, and keen to develop professionally within a growing firm

  • Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude
