Role Overview
The Audit Senior will join a highly experienced audit team, responsible for managing audits from planning through to completion. You will oversee junior staff, liaise with clients, and ensure all audits are completed in accordance with professional standards.
This role is ideal for candidates who are Part-Qualified or Qualified (ACA/ACCA) and have at least 3 years’ audit experience in practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead audits from start to finish for a diverse client portfolio
Review and mentor junior staff throughout the audit process
Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
Ensure compliance with UK auditing and accounting standards
Liaise with clients, providing professional guidance and advice
Identify issues, resolve discrepancies, and maintain audit quality
Candidate Requirements
Part-Qualified or Qualified (ACA or ACCA)
Minimum of 3 years’ audit experience in practice
Proven experience mentoring and reviewing junior staff
Ability to work autonomously, managing audits independently
Excellent communication, organisational, and client management skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines consistently
