Audit Senior – Bury | £36,000 – £46,000 | Full-Time

A rapidly growing accountancy firm with offices across the Midlands, North West, and Yorkshire is seeking an Audit Senior to join its Bury office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced audit professional to work with a diverse client base, lead a team, and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced environment.

Salary: £36,000 – £46,000
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Hours: Full-Time
Working Pattern: Flexible hybrid working

Key Responsibilities

As an Audit Senior, you will:

  • Plan and execute audits from start to finish

  • Lead onsite audit teams to deliver high-quality audits efficiently

  • Build strong client relationships and become the main point of contact during audits

  • Coach, mentor, and develop trainees and semi-senior team members

  • Deliver exceptional client experiences by understanding their businesses

  • Collaborate closely with Managers and Directors to support audit delivery

Candidate Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified

  • Proven experience in external audit

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience working with a variety of audits, including owner-managed businesses

  • Tech-savvy; CCH knowledge desirable

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships

  • Thrives in a collaborative and progressive environment
