A large and well-established accountancy practice in Derby is seeking an Audit Senior to join their dedicated audit team. This full-time role focuses solely on audit work, providing exposure to a varied portfolio of clients, primarily SMEs, and opportunities to develop mentoring and leadership skills.
Salary & Benefits:
Circa £35,000 – £43,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualification
Full-time, permanent position

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all stages of the audit process, from planning through to completion
Review the work of junior audit staff and provide guidance
Collaborate closely with Assistant Managers and Managers
Support the team with ad hoc projects as required
Ensure audits comply with regulatory and internal quality standards
Requirements:
ACA or ACCA qualified
Experience in audit practice with a variety of clients and industry sectors
Strong technical knowledge of audit standards
Excellent mentoring, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple audits and meet deadlines efficiently
