Role Overview – Audit Senior
The Audit Senior will lead audits from planning to completion, ensure compliance with professional standards, and contribute to financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:
Leading and delivering audit assignments from planning through to completion
Preparing and reviewing financial statements under IFRS, UK GAAP, and FRS 102
Communicating directly with clients, providing a high standard of service
Ensuring audits comply with professional and regulatory standards
Contributing to the development and improvement of internal audit processes
Candidate Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified
Over 3 years of audit experience within an accountancy practice
Confident leading audits independently
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, FRS 102, and UK GAAP
Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with audit and accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, QuickBooks, CCH, SAPA, Inflo, Dext)
