A busy and client-focused accounting practice in Huddersfield is seeking a Business Services Senior to manage a portfolio of clients and provide high-quality accounts, tax, and advisory services. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant looking for a supportive team, development opportunities, and flexible working arrangements.

Business Services Senior Responsibilities
Prepare accounts for a personal portfolio of clients (Limited Companies, sole traders, partnerships)
Prepare Corporation Tax computations for Limited Companies
Prepare basic Self-Assessment Tax returns
Serve as the primary contact for portfolio clients, building strong relationships
Prepare periodic bookkeeping and management accounts
Train, mentor, and support trainee staff members
Ensure compliance with filing deadlines and regulatory requirements
Candidate Requirements
Previous practice experience is essential
AAT qualified or above (ACA/ACCA)
Knowledge of CCH suite preferred but not essential
Familiarity with Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Strong organizational skills with attention to deadlines
Team player with excellent communication skills
Working Hours
Full-time, office-based role with flexibility through flexi-time
