Role Overview

The Client Manager will oversee client portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of accounts and tax services. You will supervise junior staff, review work prior to director meetings, and assist with larger client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including Sole Traders, Limited Companies, and Partnerships

  • Prepare and submit year-end accounts

  • Prepare and submit Corporation Tax Computations

  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT Returns

  • Conduct client meetings as required

  • Review and supervise junior staff work

  • Assist with preparation of larger accounts and complex client queries

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in an accountancy practice

  • Strong knowledge of accounts preparation, corporation tax, and VAT

  • Excellent communication and client management skills

  • Ability to mentor junior staff and review work effectively

  • Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple client deadlines
