Client Manager
My client, an Independent firm of Accountants based in Aylesbury are looking for a proactive and client-focused Client Manager to join their team. This is a key role supporting a varied portfolio of clients across different sectors. You’ll be responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing their day-to-day accounting and compliance needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied portfolio of clients across a wide range of sectors and act as their main point of contact
Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Prepare corporation and personal tax returns
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Carry out bookkeeping tasks and prepare management accounts
Prepare and file Companies House submissions (e.g. confirmation statements, changes to company details)
Communicate with clients to request records and clarify queries
Provide general support and advice on day-to-day client accounting and tax matters
Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients when required
Requirements
Part-qualified, qualified by experience, AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice
Good working knowledge of accounting software (Iris, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Dext etc.)
Strong understanding of UK tax and accounting regulations
Confident communicator with a client-friendly attitude
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
