An independent accountancy practice is seeking a motivated Client Accounts Manager to oversee a portfolio of valued clients and act as a trusted advisor to businesses across diverse sectors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted advisor

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, being the main point of contact

  • Ensure timely completion of all internal departmental work for clients

  • Work closely with Managers and Partners to meet client expectations and deadlines

  • Support training and development of junior team members

  • Oversee client billing and WIP management

  • Carry out other ad hoc tasks as required

Candidate Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or QBE qualified with at least 5 years’ practice experience

  • Proven experience managing a client portfolio

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Proactive problem-solving approach

  • Knowledge of accounting software including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
