Corporate Audit Manager – Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit assignments from planning through completion, ensuring delivery within budget and deadlines

  • Act as the primary client contact during on-site audits and follow-up on queries post-fieldwork

  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior audit staff, including performance reviews

  • Review statutory financial statements and client management accounts

  • Research technical audit issues and provide practical solutions to partners/directors

  • Manage work in progress, billing, and reporting for audit assignments

  • Identify opportunities for additional firm services to meet client business needs

  • Support audits of complex group structures, including liaison with component auditors

  • Undertake additional duties as reasonably required

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Full membership of a CCAB body (ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, ICAI, AICPA)

  • Proven experience leading corporate audit engagements

  • Strong understanding of business cycle controls and ability to identify audit risks

  • Experience managing and mentoring junior audit staff

  • Demonstrates ability to provide practical, proactive business advice

  • Adept at working with complex groups, reporting structures, and international clients

  • Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
