Corporate Audit Manager – Key Responsibilities
Lead audit assignments from planning through completion, ensuring delivery within budget and deadlines
Act as the primary client contact during on-site audits and follow-up on queries post-fieldwork
Supervise, mentor, and train junior audit staff, including performance reviews
Review statutory financial statements and client management accounts
Research technical audit issues and provide practical solutions to partners/directors
Manage work in progress, billing, and reporting for audit assignments
Identify opportunities for additional firm services to meet client business needs
Support audits of complex group structures, including liaison with component auditors
Undertake additional duties as reasonably required
Required Experience and Qualifications
Full membership of a CCAB body (ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, ICAI, AICPA)
Proven experience leading corporate audit engagements
Strong understanding of business cycle controls and ability to identify audit risks
Experience managing and mentoring junior audit staff
Demonstrates ability to provide practical, proactive business advice
Adept at working with complex groups, reporting structures, and international clients
Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
