Role Overview – Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
The Corporate Tax Assistant Manager will manage corporate client portfolios, ensure compliance, and support advisory projects. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and submitting Corporation Tax computations and CT600s
Managing and supporting compliance for a portfolio of corporate clients
Liaising with HMRC regarding tax queries
Supporting routine tax advisory work
Assisting Tax Partners and senior staff with technical tax research and client meetings
Preparing and circulating meeting notes and action points
Providing technical guidance to junior team members
Candidate Requirements
Working towards ACA and/or CTA qualification
Previous experience in Corporate Tax within an accountancy practice
Strong understanding of UK Corporation Tax legislation
Confident using tax software and IT systems
Ability to manage client relationships and deadlines effectively
Proactive in developing technical knowledge
Keen interest in developing a tax specialism (e.g., academies, insolvencies, or not-for-profits)
