Role Overview

The Digital Accountant will work closely with clients to streamline accounting processes using digital solutions and cloud technology. You will be responsible for bookkeeping, management accounts, year-end accounts, and providing digital support for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate client records

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and insightful financial reports

  • Produce year-end accounts for businesses of varying sizes and types

  • Provide friendly, responsive support for Xero and related apps

  • Research and promote automation technologies to improve client workflows

  • Assist in spreading the company’s story on social media platforms

Candidate Requirements

  • Xero Certified with strong knowledge of associated apps

  • 2+ years’ experience in a practice environment

  • Experience with management accounts, monthly reporting, and finance processes

  • Strong analysis skills using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with ability to build strong client and internal relationships

  • Proactive, driven, and capable of delivering WOW experiences for clients
