Digital Finance Senior Manager – Leeds

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Digital Finance Senior Manager to lead their expanding Digital Finance team based in Leeds. In this leadership role, you will act as a trusted adviser to a portfolio of clients, overseeing the delivery of high-quality accounting and advisory services.
You will play a key role in shaping the digital finance offering, driving team performance, and promoting innovation through cloud-based systems and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a portfolio of clients (T/O up to £10 million) across various sectors, including eCommerce, manufacturing, and construction
Provide proactive, high-quality accounting and advisory services tailored to client needs
Evaluate and mitigate commercial, reputational, and engagement risks
Deliver management accounts, including forecasting and budgeting support
Manage and develop a high-performing team, including appraisals and performance reviews
Deliver internal training sessions and share expertise across the firm
Identify opportunities to enhance client experience through technology and process improvement
Promote and implement digital accounting solutions such as Xero and other cloud-based tools
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and advisory meetings
Contribute to internal projects to drive financial performance and efficiency within the firm
Person Specification
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience (ideally in practice)
Proven experience leading and mentoring a finance team
Strong commercial awareness and client advisory skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Solid experience preparing management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
Up-to-date technical knowledge and commitment to continuous professional development
Strong IT proficiency with cloud accounting systems (Xero preferred)
Organised, analytical, and methodical approach to work
A strong professional network within the Leeds business community is highly desirable
