An established and reputable accountancy practice in Scunthorpe is looking to appoint an Experienced Accountant / Accounts Senior to join its friendly and knowledgeable office team. This role offers flexibility, progression, and the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
Salary: £34,000 – £42,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time (Hybrid working considered)

Key Responsibilities
The Experienced Accountant / Accounts Senior will be responsible for:
Preparation and review of statutory and management accounts
Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
Preparation of Self-Assessment tax returns
Providing technical and day-to-day support to clients
Assisting with the training and development of trainees, including reviewing work and providing feedback
Monitoring workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
Supporting the delivery of a comprehensive accounting and business advisory service
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience within an accountancy practice (essential)
Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
Ability to manage workloads and prioritise deadlines effectively
Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
Experience supporting or supervising junior team members
ACA / ACCA / AAT qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
