Outsourced Finance Manager – Camberley
Hours: Full Time
Salary: £30,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
About the Opportunity
An exciting role has arisen to join a well-established, growing and innovative business advisory and accounting firm based in Camberley. The business supports entrepreneurial and high-growth companies, providing end-to-end advisory and outsourced accounting solutions.
As the Outsourced Finance Manager, you will head up the Business Services & Outsourcing team, reporting directly to the Directors. You’ll oversee a portfolio of clients requiring full-service support including accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, management accounts, statutory accounts and tax returns.

Qualifications & Systems Experience
ACA or ACCA Qualified (suitable as a first post-qualification role, depending on experience)
Excellent knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office
Highly IT literate with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, SUMIFS essential)
Experience using multiple accounting software systems, with strong accuracy and navigation skills
Relevant Experience
Previous experience in a busy, fast-paced accountancy practice
Strong VAT knowledge with proficiency across preparation, review and submission
Experience working in an outsourced finance function with regular client interaction
Skilled in preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102 & FRS 105
Experience with personal, partnership and corporation tax returns, including more complex cases
Experience managing a team and overseeing workflow, deadlines and client delivery
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns
Oversee VAT returns, payroll, bookkeeping and management accounts
Produce annual and monthly management reports, including analysis, trends and forecasts
Assist the Managing Director with accounting operations including billing, stock, WIP, cash flow and revenue recognition
Ensure quality control and maintain practice standards
Develop and document systems, processes and internal controls
Analyse financial data and resolve discrepancies
Streamline accounting functions and improve processes
Supervise, develop and motivate the outsourcing department team
Work with the Managing Director on system improvements and client support frameworks
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely communication and support
Manage client portfolio, billing, budgets and WIP
Provide ad hoc advisory services
