Payroll Administrator – Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain payroll records by collating, calculating, and entering employee data

  • Update payroll records to reflect employee changes, benefits, exemptions, and deductions

  • Prepare detailed payroll reports including earnings summaries, tax deductions, and leave

  • Calculate payroll liabilities for employees and employers, including income tax, social security, unemployment, and workers’ compensation

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll queries

  • Ensure all payroll processes comply with company policies and legal requirements

  • Support payroll operations across a variety of client businesses

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ payroll experience in a practice setting

  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll regulations and compliance

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage confidential employee information professionally

  • Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office
