Key Responsibilities
As a Payroll Executive, you will:
Manage a portfolio of clients, processing weekly and monthly payrolls including starters, leavers, personal changes, holiday pay, and statutory payments
Prepare RTI submissions, auto-enrolment contributions, and year-end payroll processes
Address and resolve client queries via email and telephone
Maintain high levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance
Support continuous process improvement and team collaboration
Provide hands-on payroll expertise across complex and multi-payroll environments
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience in a professional practice environment
Knowledge of RTI, auto-enrolment, and statutory payroll calculations
Hands-on experience with IRIS Payroll Professional preferred (training provided if needed)
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently, proactively, and accurately under pressure
Relevant payroll qualifications (e.g., CIPP) desirable but not essential
