Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, preparing tax returns and reviewing work completed by junior team members

  • Prepare forms P11Ds and manage PAYE Settlement Agreements for clients

  • Prepare Capital Gains Tax returns for residential property sales

  • Deliver a proactive, efficient, and cost-effective taxation service that meets client and regulatory requirements

  • Assist managers in training and coaching less experienced staff

  • Support managers and partners in researching technical issues and drafting advice

  • Keep Line Manager and Partner updated on progress for all assigned work

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified by experience or ATT/ACA/CTA qualified or part-qualified

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in personal tax work

  • Some experience with other taxes is desirable but not essential

  • Strong client-facing and communication skills

  • Excellent time management and ability to meet multiple deadlines

  • Proactive, accurate, and professional
