Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, preparing tax returns and reviewing work completed by junior team members
Prepare forms P11Ds and manage PAYE Settlement Agreements for clients
Prepare Capital Gains Tax returns for residential property sales
Deliver a proactive, efficient, and cost-effective taxation service that meets client and regulatory requirements
Assist managers in training and coaching less experienced staff
Support managers and partners in researching technical issues and drafting advice
Keep Line Manager and Partner updated on progress for all assigned work
Candidate Requirements
Qualified by experience or ATT/ACA/CTA qualified or part-qualified
Minimum 2 years’ experience in personal tax work
Some experience with other taxes is desirable but not essential
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Excellent time management and ability to meet multiple deadlines
Proactive, accurate, and professional
