Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time | Practice Accountant
Salary: £32,000 – £45,000 (DOE)

Opportunity to join a growing, modern accountancy practice supporting SMEs, sole traders and limited companies across West Yorkshire.
Work with a diverse client portfolio, delivering a blend of statutory accounts, management reporting, VAT, bookkeeping and tax compliance.
Use leading cloud accounting tools including Xero, QuickBooks and Dext to streamline client workflows.
Play a key role in delivering high-quality, client-focused advisory support within a progressive, technology-forward practice environment.

Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
Produce management accounts, cashflows and financial reports
Prepare corporation tax and personal tax computations
Complete bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with compliance requirements
Support clients in adopting and optimising cloud accounting systems
Provide proactive advice to clients on financial performance and tax planning
Mentor junior members of the team where required
Stay updated on changes to accounting legislation and digital accounting best practice

Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) or experienced practice accountant
Strong background in small business accounting and tax
Confident preparing accounts, VAT and management reporting for a mixed client portfolio
Comfortable using cloud accounting platforms (Xero, QuickBooks, Dext)
Excellent communication and client-relationship skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Self-motivated, proactive and capable of managing your own workload
