Qualified Accountant - Hull, East Yorkshire
Location: Hull, East Yorkshire (Hybrid Working)
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Role

Manage a varied portfolio of clients across sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
-
Deliver high-quality accounting, compliance and advisory services
-
Enjoy a high degree of autonomy with regular client interaction

Play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the practice
Key Responsibilities
-
Preparation and review of statutory accounts
-
Preparation of management accounts
-
Preparation of corporation tax returns
-
Preparation of self-assessment tax returns and support with personal tax planning
-
Acting as a trusted adviser to clients, handling queries and providing practical guidance
-
Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
About You
-
ACA or ACCA qualified
-
Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment

Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax
-
Confident communicator with a proactive, client-focused approach

Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
Salary & Benefits

Salary range £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
