About the Role
A growing accountancy practice in Sible Hedingham is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates with at least 2 years of practice experience, looking to advance their career in accountancy while working on a range of client accounts.
You will assist with preparing accounts, VAT, corporation tax returns, and management accounts for small business and individual clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Sole Trader, Partnership, and Limited Company Accounts
Prepare Corporation Tax Returns
Prepare VAT Returns
Produce Management Accounts
Support clients with accounting and taxation queries
Maintain high professional and technical standards in all work
Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and deliver quality results
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation, corporation tax, VAT, and management accounts
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills for client interaction
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
