Role Overview

The Semi Senior Accountant will provide high-quality accounting and compliance services to a broad range of clients. You will work closely with senior team members to deliver accounts, tax, VAT, and management reporting, while building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships

  • Prepare VAT returns and management accounts

  • Assist with personal and corporate tax compliance

  • Support clients with queries and provide proactive advice

  • Liaise effectively with clients to build long-term relationships

  • Collaborate closely with senior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team

Candidate Requirements

  • AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (study support available)

  • Minimum 2 years’ practice experience

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail

  • Comfortable managing multiple clients and industries simultaneously

  • Proactive, organised, and committed to continuous improvement

  • Excellent communication and client-service skills
