Role Overview – Semi-Senior Accountant
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will support the delivery of high-quality accounting services to a diverse client base while continuing your professional development. Responsibilities include:
Managing and supporting a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Preparing accounts and financial statements
Processing client records accurately and efficiently
Preparing management accounts to meet client requirements
Completing and reviewing VAT returns for accuracy and compliance
Supporting audit pack preparation and planning
Responding to basic client queries and providing day-to-day support
Carrying out administrative and ad hoc tasks as required
Candidate Requirements
Experience in an accountancy practice environment
Some exposure to audit work preferred
AAT qualified or currently studying ACCA
Strong attention to detail and proactive client-focused approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Collaborative team player with high levels of integrity and professionalism
