Semi Senior Accountant
Location: Huddersfield, HD1
Hours: Full time - flexible and hybrid options available upon completion of probation
Salary: Up to £30,000

Role Overview
Join a supportive and experienced team in the Huddersfield office
Deliver accounts and audit support for a varied client base
Clear development pathway and hands-on mentoring
Key Responsibilities
Assist with managing a portfolio of clients
Prepare company financial statements and interim management accounts
Prepare personal tax returns and partnership accounts/returns
Attend client meetings and liaise directly with directors/business owners
Support training of apprentices
Carry out Company Secretarial duties and P11D preparation (desirable)
General administrative and accountancy support as needed
Candidate Profile
Proactive, organised, and forward-thinking
Self-motivated with strong communication and time management skills
Comfortable handling confidential information and maintaining records accurately
Experience & Skills
2–3 years in an accountancy practice
Experience with Sage 50, Xero, QuickBooks, Iris, and Sage Business Cloud (preferred)
Strong technical, written, and telephone communication abilities
Qualifications
Studying towards AAT, ACA, or ACCA, or holding a relevant accounting degree
