An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified or qualified accountant (minimum 3 years’ practice experience) to join a friendly, supportive team. This role offers hands-on experience with a variety of clients, career development, and exposure to both statutory and management accounting services.
Salary & Working Hours
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (dependant upon experience)
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Location: Clitheroe
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies
Prepare personal and corporation tax computations and returns
Draft reports covering financial statements, client business issues, and system controls
Prepare VAT returns
Support and train junior team members
Liaise closely with clients, including attending client sites
Promote the interests of the firm with clients, prospective clients, and other third parties
Provide a professional, efficient, and client-focused service
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in public practice accounting
Part-qualified or fully qualified by experience
Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
Experience with Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks advantageous but not essential
Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
