An independent accountancy practice in Poole is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a varied and challenging role, offering exposure to a wide range of clients and opportunities to develop your accounting career.

Key Responsibilities
Calculate Corporation Tax for clients
Finalise company accounts for filing with Companies House
Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems
Enter financial transactions into Xero accounting software
Produce management accounts and financial reports
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
Represent the firm professionally in dealings with clients and other professionals
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a Senior Accountant in an accountancy practice
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with cloud-based accounting software (preferably Xero)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive, self-managed, and capable of prioritising workload effectively
