Senior Accountant | Ilkley

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Hours: Full-Time

An independent, growing accountancy practice based in Ilkley, looking to expand their team. The firm focuses on delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and compliance services to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients

  • Prepare and submit year-end accounts for Sole Traders, Limited Companies, and Partnerships

  • Prepare and submit Corporation Tax Computations

  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT Returns

  • Conduct general compliance work

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in an accounting practice

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and UK tax

  • Experience with accounting software

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Good communication and client management skills
