Senior Accountant
Location: Northallerton
Hours: Full time

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day client files, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Support junior team members with queries to ensure quality output
Deliver client work to the highest standards in compliance with statutory requirements
Ensure timely receipt of client documentation to meet deadlines
Handle client queries professionally to foster loyalty
Record and recover billable hours effectively
Prepare and submit accounts, tax, PAYE, and VAT documentation to HMRC
Plan workload to ensure timely sign-off and deadline adherence
Key Requirements
AAT Level 4 qualified or higher
Strong attention to quality and commitment to personal development
Additional Requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable and collaborative team player
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Proficient with cloud accounting software (preferably Xero)
Committed to exceptional client service
