Senior Accountant – Doncaster | Hybrid Role | Competitive Salary
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Hours: Full-time, hybrid working option available

Key Responsibilities
-
Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
-
Submit self-assessment and corporation tax returns
-
Handle VAT returns, payroll processing, and RTI submissions
-
Assist with tax planning, HMRC enquiries, and investigations
-
Provide company secretarial support and general client advisory
-
Supervise and mentor junior team members
-
Liaise with insolvency practitioners as required
Key Requirements
-
AAT qualified or above (ACCA/ACA desirable)
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
-
Strong knowledge of accounts, tax, VAT, and payroll
-
Confident communicator able to explain financial information clearly
-
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage) and MS Office
-
Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff is advantageous
