A growing private accountancy practice in Swansea is seeking a Senior Accountant (Qualified or QBE) to join their dynamic, collaborative team. Key Responsibilities
Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Kashflow, TaxCalc, and Microsoft Office
Prepare corporation tax computations and returns
Prepare VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns
Ensure understanding of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting procedures
Part-manage a small team of bookkeepers and accounts assistants and assist with internal training
Communicate effectively with clients as required
Undertake other reasonable business tasks within the practice
Candidate Requirements
AAT or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting practice
Strong team orientation and experience coaching junior staff
Able to work to deadlines and exceed expectations
Confident in managing own workload and flexible in approach
Enthusiastic, hardworking, and self-motivated
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial management
