Senior Accountant – West Yorkshire (Cleckheaton / Leeds area)

The Role
Join as a Senior Accountant in a dynamic practice environment, delivering high-quality accounting, tax and client advisory services.
Work with a varied client portfolio and collaborate with partners, senior management and practice teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review year-end accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders
Prepare personal and corporation tax computations and related returns
Support senior managers and partners with project work and complex client assignments
Act as a key point of contact for client queries and liaison throughout the accounts cycle
Contribute to internal quality standards and help ensure accuracy across all deliverables
Help mentor and guide junior team members where required
Ideal Candidate Profile
Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / equivalent) or strong qualified by experience (QBE) candidate
Proven background in a general practice accountancy environment
Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and UK tax compliance
Proficient in major accounting software and comfortable with digital/cloud tools
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple assignments to deadline
