Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience)
Location: York, YO19
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accounts Executive, you will:
Prepare and complete accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and companies
Use Xero, IRIS, and other accountancy software for accounts and reconciliations
Reconcile control accounts and provide bookkeeping and VAT support to clients
Support junior colleagues with queries and technical guidance
Prepare management accounts and handle ad hoc client queries
Keep managers informed of any client issues
Maintain and develop technical knowledge via webinars and professional updates
Requirements
Newly/part ACA/ACCA qualified, or a qualified AAT member
Proven experience in practice accounting
Strong technical knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and VAT
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, organization, and client management skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
