About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Payroll Advisor to manage a portfolio of payroll clients in a dynamic bureau environment. You will handle full end-to-end payroll processes, ensure compliance, and provide expert advice to clients. This role is ideal for experienced payroll professionals who want to develop their career in a growing practice.
Key Responsibilities
Process and review payrolls for multiple clients
Prepare and submit FPS, EPS, CIS, maternity refunds, P11Ds, and payrolling of benefits in kind
Advise clients on general payroll matters, statutory additions/deductions, and pension scheme registration
Manage compliance deadlines to ensure timely submissions
Liaise with HMRC, other departments, and third-party specialists
Implement new payrolls and handle ad-hoc payroll projects
Support, mentor, and train junior team members
Identify business development opportunities within client portfolios
Technical & Professional Skills
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
Proficiency with Paycircle and Microsoft Office applications
Experience in bureau payroll processing
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
