Mixed Tax Senior
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000, depending on experience
Location: Leicester, Leicestershire
Contract: Full-time, office based

This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified tax professional to work across mixed tax, supporting a wide variety of clients with both corporate and personal tax compliance and advisory work.

The Role of Tax Senior
As a Tax Senior, you will manage your own portfolio while contributing to both compliance and advisory engagements.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a diverse client portfolio across multiple sectors.
Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns and personal tax returns, P11Ds etc.
Delivering a mix of tax compliance and advisory assignments.
Participating in Tax Planning, Estate Planning and other specialised services depending on experience
Providing guidance on tax planning matters such as restructuring, remuneration planning, CGT, and business tax issues.
Liaising directly with clients and HMRC, resolving queries efficiently.
Reviewing work from junior members and supporting their development.
Ensuring deadlines, compliance standards, and quality requirements are met.
About You
We’re seeking a confident tax professional with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to join this wonderful practice in Leicester.
Essential requirements:
Fully qualified (CTA, ACA, ACCA)
Minimum of 4 years’ UK practice experience in a dedicated tax role.
Strong technical knowledge of both corporate tax and personal tax.
Knowledge/experience of Personal Tax Planning and Estate Planning desired.
Experience delivering both compliance and advisory work.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
