Role Overview – Trainee Accountant
The Trainee Accountant will support the accounts team while developing technical skills through hands-on client work and study support. Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with account preparation and bookkeeping for clients
Supporting senior staff with tax returns and compliance work
Gaining exposure to management accounts and client advisory
Participating in a structured training programme and CPD opportunities
Developing professional skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Candidate Requirements
A-Levels (grades A–C) and/or a university degree
Strong IT and numeracy skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Effective team player with strong communication skills
Motivation to learn and develop in a professional accountancy environment
