Key Responsibilities
Support payroll processing for a varied client base, from small family businesses to large group companies
Assist with PAYE processing, statutory benefits, and year-end payroll procedures
Support online submissions to HMRC
Develop responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing as training progresses
Deliver a friendly, accurate, and efficient payroll service to clients
Work effectively under pressure while meeting payroll deadlines
Person Specification
Minimum 1 year’s experience working within an accountancy practice
Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
Organised, reliable, and motivated to pursue a career in payroll
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
