Hours: 4 weekdays, 9am–6pm
Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am–2pm)
Out-of-Hours: None
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000, dependent on experience
About the Role
We are representing a fully independent small animal practice seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their supportive and close-knit team. Final-year Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs) will also be considered for this role.
This is a friendly and collaborative environment, offering the opportunity to be hands-on across all areas of nursing, including anaesthesia, inpatient care, theatre work, and nurse consultations. The practice places a strong emphasis on teamwork, patient welfare, and client communication.

Digital x-ray
Ultrasound
Dedicated dental facilities
Fully equipped operating theatre
Idexx in-house laboratory equipment
As an independent practice, you can expect clinical autonomy, a supportive team culture, and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
Providing inpatient and outpatient nursing support
Assisting with anaesthesia and theatre duties
Conducting nurse consultations and client education
Maintaining clinical standards and accurate patient records
Participating in the weekend rota (no OOH)
About You
RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse, or final-year SVN
Confident in general small animal nursing
Compassionate and client-focused approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexible and reliable within shared rota responsibilities
