Registered Veterinary Nurse
Hours: Full time (35 hours per week Monday to Friday ideally over 4 long days with a fixed day off)
Weekends: Saturday morning at branch 1 in 4, Saturday 8am - 8pm at Gosforth hospital, approximately 1 in 16, Sunday 8am - 8pm at Gosforth hospital, approximately 1 in 16
Out of Hours: Monday night 7.30pm - 8am - approximately 3 per calendar year.
Weekend Out of Hours: 7.30pm - 8am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night consecutively with the Friday and the following Monday to Friday (6 days) off in lieu - approximately 3 per calendar year.
They are a large 8 branch, privately owned practice, where they take pride in the high level of customer service including providing their own out of hours service.
They have a large team of RVN's, SVN's and Auxiliary Nurses who support the Veterinary Surgeons and Reception staff in the busy day to day running of the surgeries. RVN's usually have a regular branch to work at but could be required to work at any of the branches to cover the rota as required.
