Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Independent Practice- Willesden, London

Location: Willesden, London
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time considered
Hours: Monday to Friday, shifts between 8:00am–4:00pm, 9:00am–5:00pm, or 11:00am–7:00pm
Weekends: None – no weekend or out-of-hours work
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000, Dependent on experience


About the Role

We are representing a well-established independent small animal practice seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse looking for an excellent work-life balance, with no weekends or out-of-hours commitments. You’ll be involved in all aspects of general practice nursing, including anaesthesia, inpatient care, laboratory work, and nurse consultations. The role also includes occasional front-of-house support and stock management.

Most surgical procedures are carried out in-house, and you’ll also have the opportunity to assist a visiting orthopaedic surgeon with more complex cases.

  • Digital x-ray and ultrasound facilities

  • Modern surgical and dental suites

  • In-house laboratory for routine diagnostics

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient nursing care

  • Assisting with anaesthesia, surgery, and patient recovery

  • Running blood samples and maintaining accurate clinical records

  • Supporting nurse consultations and client communication

  • Providing occasional front-of-house assistance and managing stock levels


About You

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse (essential)

  • Confident in all areas of general nursing practice

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Professional, compassionate, and proactive attitude

  • Keen to contribute to a positive and supportive working culture
