Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Independent Practice – Full or Part Time | Light OOH | Salary: £27,000 - £30,000

Location: Handsworth - Commutable from Sheffield, Rotherham and Mansfield 
Hours: Full Time or Part Time (10am–7pm)
Weekends: 1 in 5 (8am–2pm, ops only)
OOH: Light OOH until 11pm one evening per week
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000, dependent on experience

They are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their supportive, multi-site independent practice. With a dedicated team of 34 staff, including 10 Vets, 6 RVNs, and a strong support network of VCAs, theatre assistants, and trainees, you’ll be stepping into an environment focused on high-quality clinical care, teamwork, and professional development.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being a valued part of an established nursing team.

Your Responsibilities

You will be involved in the full range of nursing duties, including:
  • Inpatient care and monitoring
     
  • Theatre nursing and anaesthesia
     
  • Assisting in operations
     
  • Nurse consultations
     
  • Clinical admin and patient support
     
  • Working collaboratively with vets, RVNs, VCAs, and trainees
A varied caseload and multi-site setup ensure you can utilise and grow all aspects of your nursing skill set.
