Veterinary Nurse – Independent Charity Clinic
Location: East London
Employment Type: Full-time (Part-time considered)
Weekends: Emergency weekday night, weekend, and bank holiday cover on a rota basis
Salary: £30,000- £35,000 dependent on experience
About the Role
We are representing a well-established independent charity veterinary clinic that is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated and compassionate team.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about animal welfare and high standards of patient care, working within a busy, fast-paced clinical environment. The role focuses on supporting Veterinary Surgeons across all aspects of hospital care while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting Veterinary Surgeons in theatre and clinical procedures

Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting with surgical recovery

Providing high-quality inpatient nursing care

Preparing laboratory samples and maintaining biosecurity procedures

Supporting clinic operations, including stock control

Promoting and maintaining animal welfare standards across the hospital

Participating in the emergency out-of-hours rota
About You

Qualified and/or experienced Veterinary Nurse

Confident in theatre practice, inpatient care, and anaesthesia monitoring

Strong understanding of infection control and biosecurity

Compassionate, resilient, and team-focused

Comfortable working within a busy charity hospital environment
