The Opportunity
An independent small animal practice in Blackburn is looking to recruit a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly and supportive team on a maternity cover basis. This role offers a varied caseload within a close-knit environment focused on high-quality patient care and strong client communication.
The Role
This is a hands-on RVN position covering nurse consultations, theatre work, and inpatient care. Nurses are actively involved in clinical procedures including anaesthesia, diagnostics, and Schedule 3 tasks, with opportunities to utilise a wide range of nursing skills.
You will work closely with a small, experienced team, supporting both routine and more complex cases while maintaining high clinical standards.
The Practice
You will be joining a well-established, independent companion animal practice with a loyal client base. The team is experienced, supportive, and focused on preventative healthcare and providing clients with clear options for treatment and care.
The working environment is collaborative and flexible, allowing nurses to take an active role in patient care and clinical decision-making.
