Out of Hours Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: Leicester
Hours: Part-time (17.5 hours per week) – 7 nights on / 7 nights off (8:00pm – 1:00am)
Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 (including allowances)

About the Practice
The hospital is a modern, well-equipped veterinary facility, designed to support collaborative working and high clinical standards.
Facilities include in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, orthopaedic equipment, piped gases, and separate dog and cat wards.

Responsibilities
Providing high-quality out-of-hours nursing care
Managing emergency admissions and triage
Monitoring critical and unstable inpatients
Assisting in emergency procedures and theatre work
Performing Schedule 3 procedures where appropriate
Supporting clinical decision-making and patient care plans
Communicating effectively with clients in sensitive situations
Contributing to a safe, efficient, and supportive clinical environment
Candidate Profile
Qualified and Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Experience or strong interest in emergency and critical care
Confident working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Calm, resilient, and able to make sound clinical judgements
A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
Passionate about delivering high standards of patient care
Compensation & Benefits
