Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) / Final-Year SVN – Independent Practice - Surrey
Location: Surrey
Hours: Full time (4 long days) and Part time can be considered
Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturday Mornings
On-Call: None
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 dependent on experience
About the Role
We are representing a small, independent veterinary practice that is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their growing and enthusiastic team. Final-year Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs) will also be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a newly established and rapidly expanding practice, offering a varied and hands-on nursing role within a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Practice
Opened in March, the practice has grown quickly thanks to its dedicated and approachable team of veterinary surgeons and nurses. The team places strong emphasis on high clinical standards, teamwork, and patient care, creating a positive and welcoming working culture.
The nursing role is varied and engaging, with involvement across both nurse consultations and surgical support, allowing nurses to utilise and develop their full skillset.
Key Responsibilities

Providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient nursing care

Running nurse consultations

Assisting with anaesthesia, surgery, and patient recovery

Supporting veterinary surgeons during procedures

Maintaining clinical and hygiene standards

Delivering excellent client communication
About You

RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse or final-year SVN

Confident or keen to develop in consultations and theatre work

Strong communication and organisational skills

Positive, team-focused approach

Passionate about patient care and nursing standards
